Things in Second Life that SUCK-or could be better

They said :

 If I ran into a blog post about my items and saw negative feedback, I wouldn’t even think about helping you out if you had asked, based on what you had said about my item.  You ask for information, help, anything before you trash another person’s work.  All I can say is be more respectful.  You may not be happy with an item, but exhaust your options before you go bashing the creator.

I don’t want help. I’m helping people by telling them what to stay away from. You’d be surprised how unaware some people are. I’m getting so many messages, most are positive.    OH and I cut out the part they wished I would die! They went on and on about that. I’m KIDDING. They never said anything like that. They were actually quite nice and made me think for a second. I should be more clear when I post here, but I just don’t care! I directly copy pasted their message too, so there is some typos on their part. But hey, I make mistakes too.

I’ll be fair and say that the people I DID post about so far, their texturing work is great, like fucking masterpiece, other than the Hucci item (which is the most shocking of all, since usually their store is top-notch. Yes, mesh may be new, which explains why it’s more a mess than a mesh dress, but texturing and texture baking isn’t). I still love that store though, just not that release.  

In the past, I was one of those people who sent notecards to creators, complimenting everything, each loaded with many thank yous and great work, types of words,  hoping they might take a moment to help me, and I just got kicked in the teeth with somewhat rude replies.  I could name off names but even I’m not that cruel. So now I am going to post about Mesh and what doesn’t work if I see it isn’t working.  Oh and let me make it very clear that all the places I’ve posted so far, I’ve only interacted with a couple of those creators in the past, but they were positive experiences. I just find problems with the mesh items.

I’m also not here to make fans. That’s not the goal of this page. Other than try on clothes in SL and report back on here - if I feel like it, I don’t have time to maintain a real blog. I have too much work to do, both real or SL (well SL is actually a hobby). I have so much to prepare, so this page is my spare time. I can’t help you find things that I do like, unless I come across them. I can’t show you how to do things either, and for the newbies, I can’t give you lists of the best places for freebies. I also haven’t released any mesh items, but I have given away several things made by request to friends, but they were custom fit mesh, one of a kind items.   

So thanks whoever the hell you were for making me think about what I say. I should try to be more clear and not make it sound like I hate all creators. I don’t even hate the ones I complain about, just the items.  I am waiting though for a few people who I know to be jerks, to release stuff. If it sucks, I’ll definitely be less forgiving.
