Things in Second Life that SUCK-or could be better

 Fashionably Pink in Second Life made some mesh skirts. I think they are somewhat good but there is a problem and a bullshit message in a note card. Read:

Can you make a custom size to fit my body type?
    -Because there are so many variations of shapes in Second Life, this is not a service I am currently offered.  I did my      very best to create comprehensive sizes for most avatar shapes.

That is hilarious. There’s only TWO options, they didn’t do a good job at all. I didn’t buy the skirt but my friends did without even trying a demo, and they were upset. To test the theory we went to many of the popular shape creators in SL, and this Skirt is too big on ANY shape you can demo and wear the skirt on top. It looks the same as the ugly skirt system SL already had. It’s not form fitting around the waist and it looks quite large. This is the problem. I rather have it clip through my legs then have a big garbage bag on.

As I had said in a previous post before. Mesh makers need to make more sizes, 10 would be nice 20 would be ideal. I upload 30 for a mesh item I created just to cover as many shapes as possible. This is for Halloween, so it’s not ready yet but this is what all creators should do.  Skin makers make tons of makeup options, tons of tones (the better ones) and some make eyebrow options and pubic layers, cleavege options. Truth Hair, the best place I can think of at the moment also makes a tireless amount of colors and options: upper lower for all colors, streak options for all those, attachments like flowers and such for all of them. This is how mesh needs to work. Multiple sizes, not just the Normal, Curvy Pink sucks made. Who the hell started the trend of Normal/Curvy anyway? I’d like slap them in the fucking head. Fucking idiots!

This week I have tried about 29 mesh skirts in Second Life (and 20 more from some nobody creator on the marketplace, but I won’t count those), and they are all quite large, yet MOST avatars in SL I see or people I know, are around my size or SMALLER in some cases. These mesh skirts being made are just too big and they need to be tight around the waist!  You’ll have to buy that fat ass Meg avatar below to wear these skirts or change your shape. Mesh shouldn’t be about us changing our shape. Sadly the creators are mostly hacks who can’t get a real job (where you rig about 30 to as much as 100 things a day) so they use SL to set their own hours and make some money. They should be bending over backwards to make this system work that the Lindens failed to do properly, instead of rushing out mesh clothing WITH TWO or THREE OPTIONS IN SIZE, that only fit for TWO OR MAYBE THREE big people that I NEVER even see!   -   In fact, I should post all the avatars I see next to mine, while I wear the demo of this skirt, just so you can see how small I am, and then how everyone else next to me is about my size or smaller! It’s a staggering amount, and this skirt and all the others I tried, won’t fit them or look right if it’s not fitting me. 

 I said this before and will keep saying it - If this Mesh shit is going to work, then take the time to make MANY multiple sizes, not just 3 or 4 or even 6, but 10 or more! Do this so people can feel good about mesh in Second Life, and hopefully they finally get SOMETHING to fit proper.
