Hucci, usually makes fantastic products, right? Then what the fuck is that in the picture? Not only is the texturing on that the most bloody awful looking thing I’ve seen in some time, but the dress looks looks like a piece of nasty meat. It doesn’t even look like a dress, and the texturing doesn’t help it. I should also not forget to mention unlike all of Hucci’s past skanky and tight fitting clothes (even the sculpted), this “thing” is too big and unattractive.
Most everywhere I look I see residents with short skirts, so why make this? I can take pictures too to prove this. Why not just make a mesh version of the existing skirts people liked that Hucci made in the past?
Once again, as I said in the previous post about Adam and Eve, they would have to include more than: Small. Curvy, Large, Medium etc. Who made these rules? Make some small skirts, put in about 10-12 sizes, 20 to be safe. I’ve done it and it isn’t difficult. Just because the Linden’s have forsaken most residents with MESH, forcing them to alter their shape or live without, doesn’t mean the creators need to as well! Maybe the creators don’t care about their customers? Well times have changed, so make the fucking effort to please your customers. Make as many mesh sizes as skin makers make skins with make-up and brow options. Even Truth Hair offers huge amounts of colors, streak, upper/lower options and sometimes attachments (flowers and such). Time to do this with MESH.
If this Mesh shit is going to work, then take the time to make MANY multiple sizes, not just 3 or 4 or even 6, but 10 or more! Do this so people can feel good about mesh in Second Life, and hopefully they finally get SOMETHING to fit proper. I’d pay a little more if some creators did this, and put demos up to try.
As for this dress, it’s a bust for a mesh release, and I’ve seen novices do a better job texturing with Gimp.
I feel bad almost in finding so much fault in some of these things people are trying to make, but I DO feel they should rig and upload multiple amounts of sizes. It’s work and I can explain how to rig if anyone needs a lesson. Make 20 options, upload and make the community happy. Skin makers do it. The BEST hair places do it, even the better clothing stores do it with every single item in an outfit on multiple layers, so do it with mesh. Make it work for everyone!
